We had guests on Saturday, Kati and her two girls Isabella and Vera; we took a walk around the corner to the small park near our house for the girls to play.

Back in the fall of 2009 I was approached by Lizzy’s Fresh Coffee about using one of Miranda’s photos for their Swinger coffee blend. They usually run a competition where users can submit photos, however they were still relatively new and were not getting a lot of submissions so they went out in search of photos and came across one of Miranda they liked:

A few months went by and in February, 2010, I received an email that she would appear on the March label for Swinger. We get four one pound bags of the coffee; I hope to keep one bag and frame it with the original photo.

Our friend Tina brought her daughter over for a Valentine’s Day photo shoot (attempt). The girls really didn’t want to sit still and I ended up with 50 or so photos that were no good. Luckily there were a few good ones.

In between takes, they did some playing, of course. Miranda though it would be fun to jump off the top of her slide. We did not let that go on too long.
