First day of swimming lessons.

The three of us decided to go out for Mexican food Sunday night (well, Mandy and I did, Miranda doesn’t have a say…yet) as we were running some errands later in the afternoon and realized it was closer to dinner time than we thought – it was dinner time.

We ordered Miranda a quesadilla which came with rice and beans for her dinner. She’d had one before at Red Robin and devoured it, so we figured she would like this one as well. She took a few bites, but we found she really loved the rice that came with her meal. Here’s a video of her shoveling it in. She did a good job with the full size, adult spoon.

These are from a community Easter Egg hunt held in Dalton Gardens in a small park. It was raining and cool out, but that did not keep people away, as can be seen in the videos. The first gives a look at the 1-3 year old section, the second is the actual hunt. Miranda kind of gets lost in the mix at times; it was pretty chaotic. The whole event lasted no more than a minute. Then we moved on to her aunt Christy’s for another hunt there with her cousins.

Miranda walks, a lot, heck she almost runs. But she won’t walk and hold your hand (probably because it’s too high for the little shortie). At least she wouldn’t; she just recently started letting us walk and hold her hand, for a little while.
